Jim Bay (about 1816 - about 1841) was an enslaved Black man who was claimed in ownership by Duncan Cameron (1777-1853) at Bobbits Plantation. On a list of enslaved people who died after April 01, 1837, it is noted that Jim Bay became ill and later died from typhus pneumonia around age 25 in about 1841.
